July 12, 2024

Two members of the Weidenthaler group have won a Poster Prize during a Conference in Graz.

Poster Sessions are an important platform for young scientists to discuss their current projects with colleagues from other institutions. Clarity, an appealing look and of course an appropriate level of depth are essential for a good scientific poster. Weidenthaler group members Christos Sidiropoulos (PhD student) and technician Jan Ternieden have now won a prize for their poster at an international XRD symposium.

The event “XRD excites: Non-Ambient XRD & Beyond” took place from July 9-11 in Graz and was organized by the company Anton Paar and TU Graz. At the symposium, being held from July 9 to July 11, 2024,  the participants were discussing the latest advances in the field of powder XRD.

The title of Christos’ and Jan’s poster was: Shedding light on the mysteries: addressing technical challenges arising from in-situ/ operando X-ray diffraction methods.
