Chemical lottery and spectacular experiments on the Mülheimer Freilichtbühne - the show of the Max-Planck-Institut attracted thousands of visitors
The experimental lecture of Ferdi Schüth, Wolfgang Schmidt and André Pommerin attracted thousands of people to the Mulheim Freilichtbühne. The spectators enjoyed a chemisty lesson full of explosions, fire and astounding experiments. Ferdi Schüth commented the story of the fire in an entertaining way and envolved the kids of the first rows into his show. When the experimental lecture ended with the spectacular melting of ferrum, the chemists of the Max-Planck-Institut für Kohlenforschung had prooved once again that chemistry can be entertaining and fascinating.
