Manfred T. Reetz receives renowned IKCOC-Prize in Japan
Prof. Dr. Dr. Manfred Reetz, Emeritus of the Max Planck Institut für Kohlenforschung in Mülheim, receives the IKCOC-Prize. This award is endowed with 1,000,000 Yen (about 10.000 Euro) and is awarded every three years to an internationally renowned organic chemist.
Reetz receives the honor at the “Twelfth International Kyoto Conference on New Aspects of Organic Chemistry (IKCOC-12)” that takes place from 12th until 16th November in Kyoto.
Manfred Reetz has been Emeritus since September 2011. Since then he has been working as Hans-Meerwein-Research-Professor at Philipps-Universität Marburg and as external Group Leader of the Max Planck Institut für Kohlenforschung.
