Frank Neese will receive the ICReDD Award of Hokkaido University
The Institute for Chemical Reaction Design and Discovery (ICReDD) at Hokkaido University in Japan has announced Prof. Frank Neese, Director at the Max Planck Institut für Kohlenforschung, as new recipient of the ICReDD Award.
Great news for the head of the Department of Molecular Theory and Spectroscopy: The Institute for Chemical Reaction Design and Discovery (ICReDD) at Hokkaido University in Japan has announced Prof. Frank Neese, Director at the Max Planck Institut für Kohlenforschung, as new recipient of the ICReDD Award. The award ceremony that will be held together with the presentation of the Akira Suzuki Award to Erick Carreira of ETH Zurich is scheduled for September 10.
Both awards, the ICReDD Award and the Akira Suzuki Award, have only been in existence since 2021. They were launched two years ago to celebrate the 90th birthday of Nobel Laureate Prof. Akira Suzuki in a dignified setting.
The awards are intended to honor "outstanding contributions in the field of chemical reaction discovery" and to contribute to the advancement of science and technology, according to a Hokkaido University statement.
