Highly talented young scientist establishes new research group at the MPI für Kohlenforschung - Dr. Constanze Neumann moved from Massachusetts to Mülheim

Since the beginning of July, the Max-Planck-Institut für Kohlenforschung welcomes the new group leader Dr. Constanze Neumann. She is 32 years old and has previously worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, USA. Because Constanze Neumann was able to prevail in the selection procedure of the „Lise-Meitner Exzellenz Programm“ of the Max-Planck-Society, she got the opportunity to set up an independent research group at an institute of her choice and establish an independent research career. With her new research group she wants to focus on the research on catalysis with metal-organic frameworks and nanoparticles. We introduce the young scientist in our press release.
